The Ursuline School, founded in 1897 by the Order of St. Ursula, is a Catholic, college preparatory school for some 800 girls in grades 6 through 12. Full Time Science Teacher
Potential Courses: 6th Grade Physical Science, 8th Grade Earth Science, High School Chemistry and Physics
Qualifications: The candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a physical science or science education. A master’s degree or teaching certification and teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement interactive and lab-based science lessons
- Create engaging lessons that develop student’s critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Integrate appropriate technology into the curriculum
- Collaborate with department members on curriculum and instruction
- Perform additional school-wide duties.
