Music Groups 

HS Strings (Orchestra Section I) meets during the school day and is open to all High School students. HS Winds (Wind Ensemble Section I)meets during the school day and is open to all High School students.

Advanced Orchestra (Orchestra Section II) and Advanced Wind Ensemble (Wind Ensemble Section II) are reserved for students in the 11th or 12th grade and are not open to all other students. Rehearsals will be Wednesday mornings, 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  The first rehearsal will be Wednesday, September 11, 2019. (Students not in 11th or 12th grade are invited to try and place out of HS Strings class or HS Winds class by auditioning for the Advanced sections of the course.)

9th or 10th-grade students currently enrolled in HS Strings or HS Winds Class can participate in both sections of the course.

Students who would like to place out of Section I of Orchestra or Wind Ensemble should contact Mr. Mark Collins, Orchestra Instructor,  (collinsm@urulinenewrochelle.org) for audition requirements and to reserve an audition time slot. 

The Middle School Choir will rehearse on Tuesdays and Fridays [not Mondays and Tuesdays] from 7:15 a.m. -7:55 a.m. These are new times and days for rehearsals. All 6, 7, and 8th graders are welcome and should come on the very first day of class, Tuesday, September 10, 2019. This choir will be led by Ms. Rosemary Kennedy-Clarizio.

The Junior Choir (grades 9-10) will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:15 a.m. - 8 a.m. The first class is Monday, September 9, 2019. The Honors Choir (grades 11-12) will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 7:15 a.m. - 8 a.m. The first rehearsal will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Dr. Laurie Adamo will lead both choirs. Those who have not yet registered for the Honors Choir trip to Italy, please refer to the Global Travel Opportunities section.
