Dear Ursuline Parents/Guardians,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you know how excited I am to be the Athletic Director at Ursuline. Sports are an excellent way to grow emotionally as an individual. As a graduate of Ursuline, I know that athletics played a major role in helping prepare me for college and the adult world. Because of sports, the lessons of my coaches, and the games I played, I developed skills in time management, problem solving, delegation, motivation, and team building. I am excited to be a part of the rich tradition of athletics and look forward to supporting all of you and our community here at TUS.

We would like to stress the importance of having an annual/updated physical prior to engaging in any strenuous activity. An updated annual physical form must be on file for any level of participation. Updated physicals may be turned into the Athletic Trainer on the first day of tryouts.

All the athletics forms are now electronic and available on the Ursuline athletics webpage under “Student Athlete Handbook and Required Athletic Permission Forms”. Our student athlete handbook is linked at the beginning of the form. Please read thoroughly through all the documents. Also please review our concussion management protocol that is listed on the webpage.

If any 7/8 graders intend to try out for a high school team, they must contact our Athletic Director, Kim Saxton, at  to schedule state mandated fitness testing. Please click HERE for the Athletic Placement Document with required signature forms. Form B must being filled out by the parent/guardian and Form C must be filled out and signed by an attending physician.

If you should have any questions or concerns about tryouts or the athletics schedule, please feel free to reach out to the athletics department via email at or by telephone at 914-636-2521. You may also reach out to our Assistant Athletic Director/ Certified Athletic Trainer Amanda Bachmann for any questions concerning sports physicals or sports medicine procedures by email at or by telephone at 914-500-6237. Thank you and Go Koalas!!
